  • Create an account on the BIS Portal 
  • Complete the ONLINE application form.    
  • Test your product samples by taking them to an accredited BIS testing laboratory and submitting the Sample Testing Results documents to the BIS Portal to
  • complete your application process.   
  • Pay the application fees and submit your application documents.    
  • Your application will be reviewed by BIS
  • Granting of License

  • The ‘Design Data Form (CDF)’ must accurately include the details of the products being tested, and the 'Critical Components List (CCL)' must contain accurate descriptions of the parts of the products being tested.
  • Test Reports are valid for up to 3 months or 90 days from the date of issue, and before you submit to the BIS’s request, to submit your tests or reports.
  • It is important to prepare all necessary documentation before testing your product sample.
